Wednesday Morning Dump

- The NBA draft lottery was last night and the Cleveland Cavaliers were dealt the No. 1 overall pick. Chad Ford provides his updated mock draft(Insiders only). For you non-insiders, check out Swish Scout's post-lottery projections (Good-stuff here)

- Today's must-read comes from Sports Illustrated's Andy Glockner. He details the tragedy that shook the Houston Baptist program this past season and how the support that followed helped strengthen the community (Seriously, if you only read one thing today, make sure it is this)

- Andy Katz's Daily Word goes into detail about the future of UConn's program

- Eamonn Brennan provides some realistic reaction to the profile-piece Dana O'Neil wrote about Will Sheridan's decision to come out of the closet

- The Indianapolis Star provides an excellent-read on the faith and belief practiced by Butler head coach Brad Stevens

- Speaking of Butler, the Bulldogs had the highest academic success rate in college basketball this past year. The North Carolina triumvirate of Duke/UNC/NC-State also did well in the classroom

- The schedule for the 2011 Big Ten/ACC Challenge has been released. The series will be highlighted by the tOSU/Duke match-up in Columbus, and the Wisconsin/UNC game at The Dean Dome. Duke and tOSU have only met five times, the last coming in the 2002 version of the cross-conference series. Hammer and Rails provides some good insight on all the cross-conference match ups

- Greg Foster played in the NBA for 13 seasons. Last year he returned to college as an assistant coach at UTEP. Now 17 years after he began college, he is finally getting his diploma

- Former-Hoya power forward (and my childhood idol) Othella Harrington has been hired by his Alma Mater as an assistant coach

- Former-tOSU head coach Jim O'Brien has been hired by Emerson College (D-III) as their new head coach. This marks his return to college basketball after being fired in 2004 for acknowledging he had given $6,000 to a recruit

- Some reactions from around the interwebs on the hiring of Dalonte Hill by the University of Maryland. Evidence shows that the hiring could be "program-changing"

- A look at Arizona's depth chart following the announcement that point guard Lamont "MoMo" Jones is transferring

- Speaking of MoMo, St. John's could be a possible landing spot for the problematic point guard. His departure means that the Wildcats back court will be led by underclassmen next season
