Monday Morning Dump

- Abdul Gaddy came out of high school ranked right behind John Wall as the second best point guard in the country. But after struggling to find a rhythm playing behind Isaiah Thomas and Venoy Overton, Gaddy has been a bit underwhelming playing for the U18 national team, which mostly consists of high school seniors. Luke Winn caught up with Gaddy, who is expecting much bigger things next season.

- MP3 is heading to Duke. Marshall Plumlee, the younger brother of Mason and Miles Plumlee, is following the footsteps of his older brothers and headed to Duke. Marshall will enroll in 2011, which means that if Mason and Miles return for the junior and senior seasons, respectively, it will be the first time in ACC history that three siblings have been on the same basketball roster.

- The KC Star has a detailed article up right now getting you caught up on all the latest Big XII chatter.

- Here's an interesting question regarding LeBron's decision -- will it affect The U's ability to recruit? The football team already landed Seantrel Henderson.

- Wayne Blackshear, a Louisville recruit, is excited about getting to school.

- The Fayetteville Observer caught up with former UNC-Wilmington big man John Fields. Fields, who averaged 10.2 ppg and 8.7 rpg in his one season with the Seahawks, is transferring to Tennessee. Since he already finished undergrad, and the program he is enrolling in at Tennessee is not offered at UNCW, he won't have to sit out a season. Tennessee, who lost Tyler Smith and Wayne Chism, will need all the front court depth they can get.

- As a product of a Connecticut high school, this is the kind of article I like hearing about. Speaking of Connecticut, UConn has landed two German recruits this summer. Neither seem to be that good.

- More on the NCAA considering a change that would not allow a scholarship to be offered until July 1st of the summer before a prospect's senior year.

Most of you have probably heard this by now, but check out the 2:45 mark and listen for the line about Calipari.
