Friday Morning Dump

- Mike DeCourcy caught up with Roy Williams and asked him about Dean Smith.

- FOXSports is putting out a daily roundup of their travels during the July observation period.

- Melvin Turpin aka "Dinner Bell Me", who paired up with Sam Bowie to form Kentucky's Twin Towers, committed suicide yesterday.

- Gary Parrish posted a column yesterday on Nolan Smith, Kyle Singler, why they returned to school, and their decision making process.

- Billy Donovan has the momentum back in the Florida program. The Gators should be a top 15-20 team next season, and if they return their core and add Bradley Beal to the mix the following season, well, I doubt they miss the next two NCAA Tournaments.

- An Atlanta big man shuns Georgia Tech because he doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of Derrick Favors.

- The ACC has reached a 12 year deal with ESPN to broadcast football and basketball. Reportedly, the deal is worth $1.86 billion. How much could it have been worth if CBS didn't wrangle away one of the Duke-UNC games?

- Moe Harkless rules out UConn.

- Rony Seikley is a DJ now.

- Yikes. Air Force picked to finish dead last in the MWC again.

- Jim Boeheim is a dog killer?!?!? That sadistic son of a bitch.

- So sick of hearing about Karen Sypher's trial...

UNC's John Henson made the shot of the day in the NC Pro-Am...

And then got posterized by a 6'3" guard from NC Central...
