- Xavier center Kenny Frease has been suspended indefinitely by head coach Chris Mack for failing to meet academic responsibillities

- West Virginia junior forward Dominique Rutledge was suspended indefinitely by Bob Huggins just hours before Midnight Madness

- Murphy Holloway has been ruled eligible to participate at Ole Miss. Holloway played two years at Ole Miss before trasnfering to South Carolina to be closer to his infant daughter. But now he is back at Ole Miss and is allowed to play for the Rebels

- New Texas A&M head coach Billy Kennedy is taking a brief leave of absence to manage an undisclosed medical condition

- The National Hoops Report releases their 2011-2012 All-Senior Team

- Butler didn't have any Midnight Madness festivities this season. They didn't have one last year, or the year before. If it ain't broke don;t fix it, right?

- IUPUI got a commitment from Linwood Ross, Jr. (That's one helluva name)
