Tuesday Morning Dump

- As expected, the Big East made more money from this past season's March Madness than any other conference in the country. In fact, the Big East made nearly $6-million more than the Big XII, which made the second-most this March.

- Jeff Eisenberg provides a great list of the five best programs without a first round draft pick since 2000

- Eamonn Brennan delves into the issue of forfeiting wins and the NCAA's stance on which teams get their record books altered

- Brennan also explains how the Michigan Wolverines have grown in the past 24 months

- Have you ever wanted to get into the recuriting circuit? Well, it's not hard at all. Just follow some big time recruiters and recruits on twitter, take their information, and tweet it out using your own verbage. Works every time. Easy as pie. (Seriously, read this post. You won't regret it)

- UCLA got great news yesterday as highly-touted recruit Jordan Adams announced his commitment to Ben Howland and the Bruins

- Missouri has boosted the buyout penalty in Frank Haith's contract, making it much more expensive for the coach to leave before his contract is up. he buyout starts at $1.2 million after one year and decreases to $500,000 by year four

- Indiana hasn't exactly had a great ammount of success lately. So what better way to remind fans of the glory days than by hiring Calbert Cheney, a Hoosier hero, as a new assistant coach?

- Florida has finally recognized vacated games from the 1987 and 1988 seasons. Of course, none of this would be relevant if it was not for the recent "Calipari 500". In fact, Calipari doesn't care about the NCAA's decision. He would rather have the media focus on his team's 3.14 GPA

- A great-read on the first real interaction between Joe "JoePa" Paterno and Mike "Coach K" Krzyzewski. The two living-legends sat down in front of 600 people for a special ESPN program

- Kyle Singler and Nolan Smith may not be on on the Duke team anymore, but if it were up to them, Tyler Thornton would be running the point next year

- Big Ten Powerhouse profiles some of the better players in the conference who are likely to go undrafted

- This really shouldn't come as a huge surprise, but two Kentucky fans got married and had a BBN-themed wedding (Luckily, there were no "Jorts" involved")

- The recent parking ticket scandal surrounding UNC's football team seems to involve Former-Tar Heel football/basketball player Greg Little. Apparently, from March 30 to April 2, 2009, Little was issued parking tickets on three consecutive days for the same car with three different license plate numbers

- Kenny Faried is a man of the people. He's an under-sized power-forward with a "never quit" work ethic from a mid-major school. He set NCAA records with out much flare. But is he a lottery pick? The ESPN True Hoop blog wonders

- Temple hasn't had a player selected in the NBA Draft since Mardy Collins in 2006. But big-man Lavoy Allen is hoping to hear his name called in two days

- Doug McDermott may have been the most underappreciated freshman in the country last season. The Creighton freshman (And son of head coach Greg) had a breakout year and is primed to lead the Blue Jays to their first NCAA birth since 2007

- The Arena Pulse provides a full list of Green Room attendees for Thursday's NBA Draft. Even if a player is not invited to the Green Room, they are still allowed to attend the draft, but must sit in the stands. If you remember correctly, in 2009, Maryland's Greivis Vasquez sat in the stands with what seemed like 500 Venezuelans. When his name was called, the entire section erupted in gleeful pandemonium.

- Comparing The Jimmer to J.J. Reddick (Heaven forbid a Jimmer compairison featuring somebody who isn't white)

- Rush The Court waxes poetic about the always-interesting powder-blue uniforms donned by the Marquette Golden Eagles

- Future-Villanova Wildcat Savon Goodman threw down a POSTERIZED-worthy facial on Kris Dunn at the NBAPA 100 Camp
