Ed. Note: We won't be discussing the conference tournament games in the Pregame Beat. That can be found here each morning.
9:00 pm: Boston College @ Virginia Tech: Its hard to believe that the most important game of the night can be coming from two teams stuck in the middle of the ACC. Both the Eagles and the Hokies are in essentially the same position in regards to the bubble -- right on the cut line. Neither can really afford to lose this game, although Tech, who is coming off of a win over Duke and who gets Clemson later this week, probably has more leeway for a loss than BC.
7:00 pm: Alabama @ No. 14 Florida: The fact that Alabama is still in the bubble conversation just goes to show you how weak the NCAA Tournament field is going to be this year. And if the Crimson Tide had any plans of changing their current standings -- of which the consensus seems to be on the outside looking in -- than they better win at Florida tonight.
7:00 pm: No. 6 Purdue @ Illinois: If its surprising to you that Illinois is still safely in the NCAA Tournament field, then you haven't been paying attention. Most of the latest mocks have them sliding in somewhere in the 8-10 seed range. Purdue, on the other hand, has been playing terrific basketball of late and have a legitimate shot at earning themselves a No. 1 seed come Selection Sunday.
9:00 pm: No. 1 Ohio State @ Penn State: The past three week, the No. 1 team in the country has lost on the road. Despite playing in front of sparse crowds and being kicked out of their practice gym for things like Bon Jovi and job fairs, the Nittany Lions have a pretty good home court advantage. They'll need to take advantage of it tonight if they want any chance of sneaking in as an at-large bid into the NCAA Tournament.
9:00 pm: No. 20 Vanderbilt @ No. 23 Kentucky: This game feels so out of place, doesn't it? I mean, a regular season game in March with nothing but seeding on the line? Its crazy, when you think about it. Outside of the UK people I follow on twitter, there really hasn't been any discussion about this game today. And this is a game between two top 25 teams and could potentially determine who is the second team from the SEC to get a protected seed. How about if I throw this in there too -- either John Jenkins or Terrence Jones will win the SEC player of the year award.
8:00 pm: No. 24 Missouri @ Nebraska: Nebraska's bubble hopes are in dire straights, so what interests me in this game is whether or not Missouri can figure out how to win on the road.
7:00 pm: Baylor @ Oklahoma State: Baylor picked up a huge win on Saturday night that reignited their NCAA Tournament hopes. They absolutely cannot afford to lose that momentum tonight against the Pokes.
