Tuesday Morning Dump

My eyes are still readjusting from the four hours I spent last night starring at a bad acid trip Oregon's uniforms

- Matt Norlander has a great-read on Georgetown's Chris Wright. He says it's quite simple (and it is): As Chris Wright goes, so do the Hoyas

- Seth Davis tackles a bunch of hot topics in this week's Hoop Thoughts. He gives his thoughts on the Renardo Sidney fiasco, talks with NCAA president Mark Emmert and provides his mid-season All-American team

- Matt Jones follows up on Davis' chat with Mark Emmert. The NCAA president made some rather interesting remarks that will likely be discussed ad nauseum

- Mario Little returned to the Kansas Jayhawks squad for the first time since his December 16 arrest on battery charges

- Gary Parrish worked as a Memphis beat reporter for a handful of years. But that's not stopping him from going after Memphis in this week's Poll Attacks

- Eamonn Brennan provides his Poll Thoughts after watching a weekend's worth of baffling basketball

- Andy Katz explains why Minnesota is facing an uphill battle to contend for the Big-10 crown

- In this week's edition of Bubble Watch, Andy Glockner tries to describe all that crap piled together in the middle of the ACC

- If Jeff Goodman was in charge (I'm not sure he isn't already) this is what his dream team would look like. Goodman also lists his mid-season awards. Goodman finishes up the hat-trick with his week-in-review

- Reggie Rankin recaps the 15th annual Timberwolves Shootout. The recruiting event was host to some of the top recruits in the game, such as recent-UNC-commit Marcus Paige and future-UNI star Matt Bohannon

- Jeff Borzello put together a great list of superlatives for the standout freshman. (For those of you who don't already know, Jeff Borzello is a wizard when it comes to talking about H.S. recruits. And this may be why)

- Former Golden Gopher "Bel Biv" Devoe Joseph will transfer to Oregon

- And in case you still aren't positive that this past weekend wasn't completely bizarro, Jeff Esienberg explains how exactly you score five points in four seconds

- A interesting list of the top-5 overrated teams in college basketball this season

- The updated mid-season transfer list

- The Michigan State Spartans are out of the top-25 for the first time since the 2006-2007 season

- A great-great-read on the entirety of the Enes Kanter decision. Coach Cal responds to the NCAA's final decision

- Despite the tough loss at home to BYU, the UNLV Runnin' Rebels feel confident heading in to their tilt with San Diego State

- The improvements made by Isaiah Thomas is one of the main reasons the Washington Huskies are cruising atop the Pac-10

- Gonzaga redshirt freshman Keegan Hyland will transfer to Vermont. Hyland has been battling through injuries for the past 18 months and hopes to get a fresh start on the other side of the country

- The Charlotte 49ers received bad news as senior center Phil Jones has been ruled academically ineligible for the Spring semester. Jones had been averaging 7.5 ppg and 5.5 rpg for the 49ers

- Virginia's leading scorer and rebounder, Mike Scott, will miss the rest of the season due surgery on an ankle injury

- This just in: Kyrie Irving is still injured

- I think its high-time you learn something about American's Vlad Moldoveanu a.k.a. Vlad the Impaler

- Northwestern head coach Bill Carmody has been given a contract extension

- It's no surprise that Bruce Pearl had a difficult time watching his team lose to Arkansas 68-65 in their SEC opener. Pearl had to watch the game from his hotel room as it was the first of his nine-game SEC suspension for NCAA violations

- An interesting-read on Chicago-area hoops venues

- And in case you've always wondered what the Christmas break is like for a D-I athlete, The New York Times Quad has your answer

I bet the film session was classic
