Friday Morning Dump

- Its Friday Morning. Know what that means? You can cure your hangover with some Luke Winn Power Rankings!

- Good read from Kieran Darcy on Mike Glover, aka Optimus Prime, the Iona big man averaging 22.4 ppg and 9.6 rpg.

- Eamonn Brennan put together an interesting piece on the number of quality guards there are in the country this season.

- The SEC East might be better than the entire Pac-10 this year. Teams like Georgia (6-2) and South Carolina (7-1) were predicted to be near the bottom of the division but have an opportunity to make a statement

- This is interesting: ESPN's CBB staff graded their preseason all-american teams and top 25.

- St. John's will likely have senior point guard Malik Boothe back in the starting lineup for their next game. He sat out of the Fordham game due to a strained hamstring

- Tubby Smith apparently had to light a fire under Trevor Mbakwe. Literally. (No, not literally. That would be illegal.)

- There are a couple of seniors in the Colonial Athletic Conference that have NBA potential. Ryan Blake, the Director of NBA scouting discusses the talent of guys like Charles Jenkins, Denzel Bowles, and Chaisson Allen

- There is more to coaching than just x's and o's. Montana coach Wayne Tinkle used youtube to get the fans out and support

- I was pretty sure this was leaked last week, but the Big East/SEC Challenge will expand to 12 teams next season

- Boston College is shooting 3-pointers at a much more successful rate than last year

- Not a bad Q-and-A with Jordan Hamilton of Texas.

I can't decide if I think this guy is wack or awesome. I was going to say wack, but then I watched the last 30 seconds.
