Tuesday Afternoon Dump Session

Since the hoops season is starting to pick up over the next week, we figure maybe a second daily-dose of link-dumpage would help you to stay up-to-date with the college hoops blogosphere. (not to mention helping us to get all the links posted after we finished the Morning Dump)

- There's going to be a whole bunch of NBA offspring on the court in Atlantic City this week

- In a world where one-and-dones rule, unsung senior leaders are making a heroic comeback, and Pitt's Ashton Gibbs is leading the way

- The Mid-Majority's Kyle Whelliston explains how twitter has changed the way we react to scores and news

- With Siena and Butler squaring-off in the mid-major must-see of the week, the entire spectrum of small-conference schools are feeling the pressure

- Liz Clarke of the Washington Post reports that in order to maximize productivity, Jordan Williams needs to stay out of foul trouble

- And to think, just when we thought it couldn't get any worse for Wake Forest, coach Jeff Bzdelik suspends forward Melvin Tabb

- A breakdown of the Georgetown Hoyas roster as if they were Thanksgiving food

- Jeff Goodman tells us not to blow Harrison Barnes 0-for out of preportion

- If Gordon Hayward's shot had landed, would the Butler Bulldogs win Sports Illustrated's Sportsman of the Year Award?

- Goodman also gives his nightly awards

- Is this season's Kentucky squad more likable than last years team?

- Speaking of Kentucky, I was unaware that Coach Cal had his own website. This may be too much to handle

- Margin of scoring in college basketball concerns more than just the bookies

- in a contest I predicted to be closer than originally expected, Mississippi State defeated Detroit 81-76

- Speaking of the Titans, the program is hosting a "Garage Sale" on Friday, where you can purchase jerseys, shorts, and warm-ups from seasons past. Man, I would love it if every D-1 program did this. I would shell out serious money for these, these or these

- The Chicago college hoops scene is way down this year, but that isn't stopping UIC's Robo Kreps from having a fantastic start

- To win games, you have to take shots and make shots
