Friday Morning Dump

Let's take a moment before we begin to honor all the delicious turkeys who sacrificed their lives for us yesterday. If for some reason you had tofurkey, or turducken, GET OUT! NOW!

And by the way, we know its barely morning anymore. But I went out drinking last night. You should be lucky I can see straight enough to even type.

- A great-read from Adam Zagoria on the mental toughness of Tennessee's Steven Pearl, otherwise known as Bruce Pearl's son

- In Mike DeCourcy's latest "3-Pointers" column, he discusses a possible benching of UNC's Larry Drew, the big-time play of Morehead State's Kenny Faried, and what the now-destroyed Philadelphia Spectrum means to college hoops

- Ray Mernagh from the NBE had a great-read about Kemba Walker and his UConn compatriots. His opening line is tremendous.

- The Washington Huskies left Maui with a 1-2 tournament record, and I'm not sure that's what they were hoping for. What did we learn about Washington from their trip to the island?

- Rush The Court checks-in on The Pac-10 Conference

- Corey Fisher has gained some fame since his 105-point performace in an almost-folklore-ish summer league game. But that game isn't all the Fisher name is known for

- Depth issues will hurt even the deepest teams. USC doesn't have the luxury of being a deep team.

- Corey Fisher may not be scoring 105 points a game, but he's still playing some damn-good basketball

- A 'Nova-centric preview of the N.I.T. Season Tip-Off title game

- A Q&A session between bloggers of in-state rivals Dayton and Cincinnati. The teams go-head-to-head this weekend.
