We finally have the ruling on Bruce Pearl.
Well, from the SEC at least.
Today, SEC commissioner Mike Slive sent a letter to Tennessee on Thursday that Pearl will be suspended from coaching the Volunteers, who are 3-0 but have a couple of unimpressive victories on their resume, during the first eight games of the SEC schedule. He is, however, allowed to coach the team during the remainder of their non-conference schedule and will be allowed to run practices during that time. He just won't be on the sideline come gameday.
