I'm all for supporting charity, and apparently so is Mike Brey.
Notre Dame's head coach has joined up with the Ronald McDonald House to participate in a fundraising effort that will allow the family of a critically ill child to stay over night at the Ronald McDonald Family Room. Brey is one of 12 men to join a competition called "Men in Kilts".
This is how it works: A vote costs $50, and you pick which man you think wears the kilt the best. Simple, right? Brey needs all the help he can get right now, as he currently has just 13 votes, 108 behind the leader.
The best part?
If he wins, he will coach the first half of Notre Dame's first exhibition game in a kilt. So open your checkbooks, ladies and gents. Its for a good cause, and we will certainly all get a laugh from it.
As Brey said, "After 10 years in mock turtlenecks, I am excited to change my look and participate in the first 'Men in Kilts' event."
