Wednesday Morning Dump

- Today's must-read comes from Fanhouse, who put together their all-time list of guys that never made it as NBA players. Fantastic!

- So you know all that talk about agents this summer? Well, it turns out that many states actually have a law on the books that allows schools to sue agents should they have contact with student-athletes. It just so happens that these schools rarely take advantage of the law. We were going to write on this, but Eamonn Brennan pretty much nailed it on the head here.

- Matt Norlander put together an excellent piece for Jeff Goodman's blog on Adam Walsh, the man with quite possibly the toughest coaching gig in america. Walsh is the new head coach at Centenary, a school that is moving from D-I to D-III.

- Luke Winn explains why no player has had as successful a summer as Butler's Shelvin Mack. With Gordon Hayward in the NBA now, Mack is going to have to be the guy that leads Butler. While its pretty unlikely the Bulldogs are headed for another Final Four, don't be surprised when they win the Horizon again.

- Andy Katz with an enjoyable read on quite possibly the most interesting D-I coach in the country -- new Iona head man Tim Cluess. He's a restaurant owner and a caterer on Long Island that came to the Gaels from D-II CW Post. Speaking of coaches, Illinois-Chicago should have one by August 24th.

- The household possessions of John Wooden will be donated to UCLA and placed inside the school's Hall of Fame.

- Mike DeCourcy weighs in on the NCAA's potential new rule that would require players in poor academic standing to take summer classes while also getting a chance to workout with the coaching staff.

- Texas Tech to have another reality show?

- UConn's Kemba Walker has had a very productive summer

- Temple fans and coach Fran Dunphy are more than happy to have Lavoy Allen back

- Maryland coach Gary Williams will be inducted into the Baltimore Hall of Legends

Dan Dakich, former Indiana head coach and now a commentator on ESPN, on how to clean up college basketball.

Maccabi Tel Aviv released their new promotion video for the upcomming season, featuring a handful of former college stars (such as Cornell's Jeff Foote). Is anybody else fired up to renew season tickets? I know I am.
