- Its a little bit late, but today's must read is from Rick Bozich of the Louisville Courier-Journal who wrote on Jim Delany's comments from Thursday.
- In case you missed it on Friday, the legend has been confirmed: Corey Fisher dropped 105 points in a summer league game.
- 7-foot center Zisis Sarikopolous of Ohio State has reportedly signed, or his close to signing, a professional contract in his native Greece. He has been there the past two months playing with the under-20 national team. Sarikopolous was expected, along with Dallas Lauderdale, to provide some depth and size up front alongside all-world freshman Jared Sullinger.
- UConn has received a two-week extension for responding to the NCAA's notice of allegations. Originally, it was supposed to be completed by this Friday, but the NCAA bumped the deadline back to September 3rd.
- Gary Parrish with his column from Friday. A couple of very good points about Trevor Mbakwe.
- Lance Stephenson was arrested on Sunday. For pushing his girlfriend down a flight of stairs. I'm still shocked he was able to stay out of trouble in his one year at Cincinnati.
- Sean Sutton pleaded guilty and received probation for illegally obtaining prescription pills.
- Steve Lavin, to the surprise of quite a few, is doing to pretty solid job of recruiting at St. John's right now.
- Isiah Thomas has at least one backer -- top 2011 recruit Josiah Turner's mother. I wonder if that mean Thomas can land Turner at FIU?
- Anthony Davis needs a favor.
Former Western Michigan big man Joe Reitz needs to drink his sprite.
