Friday Morning Dump

- So the WAC president is pissed that Fresno State and Nevada are leaving. Surprised? Not me. I just want to fast forward this whole thing, however. Wake me up when all the conferences are figured out.

- Realignment 2.0: The Merger. Don't believe me? Here and here.

- Last week, DeAndre Daniels decommitted from Texas. This week, he's been cleared to join the class of 2010. Guess where he is looking now -- yup, Kentucky. With the lack of size the Cats have this season, they certainly could use a 6'8" forward.

- We all expected Xavier Henry to leave Kansas after one season, but CJ Henry too? You remember CJ Henry, right? He walked on at Memphis for a year after spending three seasons in the Yankees farm system. Well, he's gone now too, as is fellow walk-on Chase Buford.

- Rashad Bishop is still suspended at Cincinnati. He was suspended before the Big East tournament last year, and Mick Cronin has yet to reinstate him.

- Great story on a young man that worked his way from a D-II school to a scholarship with Temple.

- Former Michigan State star Jay Vincent indicted for internet scam that stole roughly $2 million from roughly 20,000 jobseekers

- !!!New Club Trillion post!!! This totally makes my Friday. Titus explains the many levels of fame that he has encountered since becoming the most famous benchwarmer in college basketball history.

- Andy Katz on new East Carolina coach Jeff Lebo. Lebo, formerly of Chatanooga, Tennessee Tech and Auburn, looks to get the Pirates to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 1993.

- Jeff Goodman explains why Jerome Allen, the new head coach at Penn, is familiar with trying to lead the Quakers back to Ivy League prominence. Its also always nice to hear things like this -- head coach remains loyal to his alma mater.

- Former Syracuse star Paul Harris pleads guilty to charges of menacing. Menacing charges? That's definitely a new one. The great 'Cuse blog, Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician explains more.

My excuse to post this video? No. 8 in white is Nick Calathes.
