Wednesday Morning Dump

- If you read anything today, take a look at John Feinstein's post on Dean Smith. Feinstein was supposed to be writing a biography on Smith, but Smith's memory loss ended that project midway through the process.

- Jacob Pullen is an awesome basketball player. He also has an awesome beard. And despite his mother's wishes, that won't be changing next year. FEAR THE BEARD lives on.

- Some Peach Jam recruiting updates for you: Zagsblog, Scout, Northstar Basketball, and Rivals. It seems like everyone is in agreement -- Austin Rivers, Anthony Davis, and Quincy Miller will all give Michael Gilchrist a push for the No. 1 spot in 2011.

- Expansion isn't over yet! Nine schools are applying for a new DII conference to be created. The difference? They aren't doing it for football TV contracts, they are doing it to save money on travel costs.

- Cincinnati adds a new assistant coach.

- Dana, this is the kind of thing we need pictures for!

- This photo was taken by Jeff Goodman at Nike's Peach Jam, when Austin River's Each 1 Teach 1 team was taking on James McAdoo's Boo Williams team. Pretty crowded, eh?

- Pat Summitt's son is a walk-on at Tennessee, for the girls basketball team.

- ODU assistant Jim Corrigan should get more recognition

Terrell Owens was dunked on at the Rucker:
