Sorry for the late start today. Technical difficulties at BIAH headquarters. And by technical difficulties, I mean that RCN (yes, I switched from Comcast, although I think I'm starting to regret that decision) somehow interpreted my attempt to add an HBO package as me deciding to cancel my service. YAY!!!
- Two must-reads for you recruiting nuts: Evan Daniels and Dave Telep of Scout.com put together an awesome preview of the month breaking down some of the best players in the country. Gary Parrish of CBSSports will be out on the road covering the recruiting scene as well, and he put together a nice preview of his own.
- More recruiting stuff -- Mike DeCourcy caught up with Trevor Cooney.
- Off-season Dana O'Neil!!! First, Dana takes us through the downside of the proposed new NCAA rule that makes it illegal for a coach to offer a kid a scholarship until the summer before that player's senior year. And believe it or not, the downside may actually be greater than the upside. That said, she is also quick to point out that the rule is not all bad.
- Stanford outperformed expectations last season, and despite losing Landry Fields to the NBA, the Cardinal have a shot to be pretty good (at least by Pac-10 standards) next year. A big reason for that is the return of Josh Owens from the mysterious illness that kept him out last year.
- Arizona's Sean Miller spoke with Andy Katz.
- Regional round matchups for the Legends Classic have been announced.
