- If you read anything today, read this. It has a bit of foul language, but it is quite hilarious.
- Coach K made more than $4 million during 2008-2009. Also, he isn't going to the NBA. Ever. Not ever.
- Tom Izzo and the Cavaliers have actually discussed a contract; Cavs owner won't discuss anything. Gary Parrish says that if LeBron returns to Cleveland, Izzo has to take the Cavs job. I tend to agree, strictly on the premise that Izzo would be able to coach LeBron. Making $6 million with the most talented (I didn't say best) basketball player in the world is a good thing. But Izzo has to keep in mind what other college coaches have done in the league. Obviously, the guys at The Only Colors are worried.
- If Izzo does leave, MSU will look to sign a replacement quickly. This report names Dayton's Brian Gregory and Utah's Jim Boylen as potential replacements.
- Very, very interesting stuff here from Draft Express, as they break down situational statistics of this year's point guard crop.
- Guerdwich Montimere, the 22 year old that posed as a high school basketball player, and Jabari Caldwell, his friend that preteneded to be his older brother, have both been arrested on felony charges. Montimere's are muchmore serious, as he has two sexual assault charges against him.
- This will go over well -- Lew Perkins, the Kansas AD, missed a portion of the Big XII meetings because he had to face a grand jury for the ticket scandal. More on Kansas potentially being without a conference, and Eamonn Brennan gives a piece of his mind regarding expansion.
