Thursday Morning Dump

- A TV station in Orlando is reporting that Memphis and Central Florida "could be invited to join the Big East as soon as next week." Yeah, and I'm reporting that sources tell me the Big Ten could expand again this summer. Sarcasm aside (I'm not sure if its possible for that wording to sound any less definitive), this is something to keep an eye on.

- Kansas AD Lew Perkins addressed Big XII expansion, saying that the five schools that would have been left conference-less had Texas and company bounced came up with a business plan to ensure that Texas, Oklahoma, and Texas A&M all got as much money in the Big XII as they would get in the Pac-16/SEC.

- Colorado is going to try to make the move to the Pac-12 in 2011.

- Yesterday, we talked about what the two Pac-12 divisions could look like. Jeff Eisenberg made a great point that this could negatively effect the schools that won't get to play in LA every year. The San Jose Mercury News comes up with an interesting solution to this problem.

- Interview with Jay Bilas.

- Doug Gottlieb weighs in on realignment.

- Villanova has a shake-up in their coaching staff.

- UNC's Will Graves undergoes surgery on his ankle.

- Gary Parrish is getting lazy.

- Larry Scott -- no animosity for Texas.

Will Barton to Will Coleman ... Memphis will be fun to watch

Santa Clara head coach Kerry Keating is putting together an initiative to try and get coaches to stop texting while driving. My question -- is this Jawbone company paying him for this?

Did Texas A&M' AD leave this voice mail?
