Ejected Presbyterian fan has a home at Cameron

I know December was a long time ago, but rack your brains and see if you can remember when Roy Williams threw a Presbyterian fan out of UNC's arena.

You remember yet?

Does this help?

The incident made its rounds on the internet as Brian King, the fan, and Williams both spoke about the incident. King spent his 15 minutes in the sun, and as time passed and bigger problems arose for UNC (oh, like their horrendous season and Williams' decision to compare it to Haiti), I doubt I was alone in thinking that this was the last that we would hear of one Mr. Brian King.

I wonder if anyone on UNC recognized him.

I guess I underestimated the Cameron Crazies.

In a fit of genius, the Crazies reached out to King, offering him courtside tickets to the UNC game at Cameron.

"I had a lot of people reach out to me after what happened ... and now that time has passed, this just looked like fun," he told the Charlotte News & Observer.

Hilarious, right?

And if you believe some of the published reports, he apparently repeated exactly what had gotten him booted out of the UNC game, yelling "Miss it Deon" while Deon Thompson was shooting a free throw.

So do me a favor and take a minute out of your Marchly Duke-hating to appreciate that this was pretty darn funny. The irony in all of this? King was born and raised a Duke fan.
