There was so much to digest from this weekend. If not the most exciting weekend of the current season, then it was clearly the most interesting. I thought I had seen it all Saturday, with what seemed like every top-25 team being upset. Then Sunday rolls around and provides the most significant upset of the year.
We will go relatively light on the Tennessee/Kansas shocker. Afterall, this was no ordinary upset. The circumstances of this game are just too overwhelming to cover in merely one Morning Dump.
Here at BIAH, we are running a little behind today. The weekend recap, the week in review, and our top 25's will be posted this afternoon and early this evening. Sorry for the delay, blame my alarm clock.
- A wrap-up of Saturday's action
- Garry Parrish adresses the state of the undefeated teams (before KU loss)
- The Dartmouth head coach was forced to resign when players threatened to boycott. Jerry Wainwright is expected to be let go at DePaul. His record isn't good at the Chicago school, and he just tore his MCL and fractured his fibia on Wednesday after a collision on the sideline against Villanova
- UConn lost in another Big East Classic, but landed Oak Hill stud Roscoe Smith
- Seton Hall got their first conference win as Herb Pope summoned his inner Derelle Revis
- NC State lost to fellow ACC bottom-feeder UVA at home
- Josh Selby is on Arizona recruiting visit and planning more
- An interesting Interview with NCAA Tournament Associate Director
- Rutgers forward Echinique is transferring; Indiana is at the top of the list
- Iowa State kicks player off the team, suspends another.
- Frank Martin is more of a man than Mike Leach, Mark Mangino, or Jim Leavitt
- Notre Dame forward taking an indefinite leave of absence.
- Former Ohio State guard Walter Offutt to Wright State
- Those four staight shots Kansas hit from half court? They were real
- This just doesn't seem real... I mean, can you see Tim Brando saying "haters"?
- Michigan's Okunne declared academically ineligible
- Yup, we got this right!
