Rick Reilly's latest column: very similar to one of the Sports Fella; if this was my child, I'd be pretty livid; ouch; gross;
- Jeff Goodman catches up with cancer survivor Dave Rose.
- Dana O'Neil catches up with Darius Washington.
- Western Kentucky coach ready to "Rock and Roll".
- Nebraska coach Doc Sadler and Larry the Cable Guy are pals.
- Rumors and Rants takes a look at Rick Pitino.
- Wanna know when you run a good mid-major program? When your fans are pissed about a 19 win season.
- Jeremy Tyler in Israel. Can anyone translate this for me?
- Kyrie Irving's visit schedule.
- Nebraska got a 14th scholarship due to an NCAA mistake.
- Whitlock goes off. I don't know if any other writer (maybe Simmons) gets as much leeway for a column as Whitlock does. My personal favorite is the barb he sends at Rick Reilly.
- Top 10 worst baseball innovations.
- Video of the high school football star in Mississippi who tackled a girl with a gun:

the Jeremy Tyler article is talking about his expectations, his first impressions of Israel. He talks about how he's going to have to work hard to get ready for the 2011 NBA draft. He says that Davon Jefferson told him all about the team, and he very much enjoyed playing here last year. Tyler says it should be an easy adjustment because Haifa reminds him of San Diego. On the difference between basketball in Europe and America he said: "basketball is basketball everywhere. yeah there are...differences in the rules, but I don't think that's going to have any effect on my style of play here..."
On why he chose to play in Europe: "I left school because I thought that I can open my game up better in proffessional leagues and not in universities. College...is great, but the proffessional leagues will prepare me better for the future.
And why specifically Israel? "I'm young and I want a place that would make me comfortable. Israel is the best place for a guy like me, and that's why I came here. I know that Maccabi Tel-Aviv is the defending champion...I really think we can make it...that's the goal why I came here."
