At the beginning of the year, I predicted that Rodney Williams would be the top dunker in the country. Well, even with the suspension, Tony Mitchell seems to have run away with that award, but the following clip is one of the reasons why I thought Sir Rodney could be the best in the land.
This dunk happened two weeks ago. How come it has taken 15 days for me to find this. I can't do this all by myself, people!

When searching for a #POSTERIZED entry, Memphis games are always a good place to start. You can always count on a memphis game to feature at least one possible #POSTERIZED candidate.
Sometimes it's Memphis doing the dunking.
Other times....Well, Isaiah Sykes will take it from here.
Look at Marcus Jordan calling for the ball on the left wing. Sorry bruh, Isaiah ain't givin' up the rock.

POSTERIZED: Mitchell goes Hog Wild |
Apparently there is more than one Mitchell in the SEC capable of throwing down a nasty #POSTERIZED slam. While Alabama's Tony Mitchell sits out due to season-ending suspension, Arkansas' Brandon Mitchell is making a name for himself.
Last night against Ole Miss, the sophomore guard got the ball underneath the basket after an in-bounds steal, and well, did the damn thing.
The Razorbacks lost the game 77-75, but it's nice to be able to watch a game between non-postseason teams and see some entertaining flashes.

POSTERIZED: Tahj Tate provides some #POSTERIZED publicity |
It is no secret the B.I.A.H is the world wide leader in collegiate slam-dunk knowledge and information. This is a tried truth. I can show you the numbers if you don't believe us.
Our meteoric rise in the college hoops world has provided us with some great opportunities. One of these opportunities includes being able to provide color commentary for Delaware State Hornets games on Sports Radio 1290AM The Ticket in Wilmington, DE. The play-by-play voice of the Hornets, Scott Klatzkin, is a rising star in the radio broadcasting world who you will be hearing more of in the future.
If the name sounds familiar, it's because @ScottieK3 has contributed here at B.I.A.H on an assortment of entertaining posts and videos.
Two weeks ago on Saturday, February 11th, the Hornets traveled to Baltimore, MD to take on the Coppin State Eagles in a key MEAC game. I was lucky enough to get the call and provide expert analysis on the pivotal MEAC showdown for the radio station.
After a deflating eight-game losing streak, The Hornets had won five-straight, and were rapidly ascending the conference standings. After getting down by as many as 12 points to Coppin State, DSU put together a furious second half rally.
They applied a suffocating full-court press, and started double-teaming players at mid-court. With under two minutes to play, superstar freshman Tahj Tate (@1ahj1ate) decided it was about time to leave his mark on the game, and in doing so, provided B.I.A.H with some much needed radio publicity.
Cue the video Scottie.
Here's the thing. The game was already in it's wildest sequence.
Scottie and I were still trying to catch up to what was going on. There had been two steals, a fast break, and another big dunk from Tate. When Tahj stole the outlet pass and decided to drop the hammer, I was speechless. Literally speechless. Scottie was so elated that he reached over with his right arm and almost knocked me out of my chair.
But the audio speaks for itself.
I spent the entire 45-minute drive back to Washington, D.C. giddy in anticipation of this video's release. And as always, both Scottie and Tahj delivered.

POSTERIZED: John Henson uses his length |
They say that "You can't teach 'length'".
Next to Kentucky's Anthony Davis, UNC's John Henson is the longest player in the country. His limbs extend to infinity.
While that's saying is true, you can certainly draw up plays for 'length'.
And that's exactly what the Tar Heels did against Virginia on Saturday.
That's just too easy. Just get the ball near the rim, and if Henson is within the city-limits, he's going to dunk in home.

Bellarmine doesn't need Jeremy Lin |
"Linsanity" is taking over the world, and there's nothing we can do to stop it.
But the Bellarmine Knights are giving it their best shot.
Bellarmine University (Ky.) is a Division-II powerhouse. They are the reigning NCAA Division-II National Champion and up until a three-point loss at Southern Indiana last week, they were the No. 1 team in the country. They currently sit behind only West Liberty in the national rankings, and hold a 23-2 overall record.
You would think that maybe a dose of "Linsanity" would help the Knights get their top-spot back, right?
Wrong.
With a White Stripes-esque music video like this, not even Jeremy Lin is needed to save the day.
Best college basketball-related music video of the year?
Absolutely.

VIDEO: Shabazz Napier's game-winning three-pointer |
Shabazz Napier called out his UConn teammates after a loss to Marquette over the weekend. The sophomore guard almost didn't play tonight due to a foot injury.
Wanna know a great way to shut up all the critics?
Hit a game-winning three-pointer.
And that's just what Shabazz did.

POSTERIZED: Weekend Recap |
There were 172 college basketball games this weekend. If you're hoop-addicts like us, you and your couch got to spend a lot of quality time together on Saturday.
But not only was it a productive weekend of hoops. it was chalk-full of spectacular dunks.
Since we've started spending more time writing for NBC Sports Beyond the Arc, we have decided to group together the #POSTERIZED dunks that are good, but not great-enough to warrant their own post.
But first, have a gander at the marquee #POSTERIZED dunks from the weekend:
Darius Miller - Kentucky vs. Ole Miss
Tony Wroten Jr/Aziz N'Diaye - Washington vs. Arizona
Chris Czerapowicz - Davidson vs. Wichita State
Kenny Gabriel - Auburn vs. Mississippi State
POSTERIZED Weekend Recap 2/17 - 2/19
Branden Dawson - Michigan State vs. Purdue, 2/19
I've stated this before, but it needs rehashing: It's difficult to throw down a windmill dunk in traffic. Usually, you need time and space to set your feet, contort your body and swing your arms. I say usually, because well, sometimes a player decides to forgo conventional wisdom. That's exactly what Branden Dawson did yesterday, and the results speak for itself.
Okaro White - Florida State vs. North Carolina State, 2/18
In-bound ally-oops are a thing of beauty. There isn't too much that is more pretty than a player getting behind the entire defense and finishing home a nice slam. Okaro White did just that. The pass from Deividas Dulkys was a bit too high, but White has the athleticism and wingspan to make up for it.
Ian Hummer - Princeton vs. Cornell, 2/18
This might not be the best dunk of the weekend, but it's certainly my favorite. You just don't expect to see mean-muggings like this in Ivy League games. Ian Hummer can get up in a hurry, that I am certain of. This is probably the first time you're seeing this dunk. Make sure it's not the last.
Sir'Dominic Pointer - St. John's vs. UCLA, 2/18
I still think it's beyond stupid that this kid's name is "Sir'Dominic", but I've been told I can't voice my opnions here. Anyways, this was a sick dunk. Enjoy.
Caleb Walker - Nebraska vs. Illinois, 2/18
The Huskers absolutely humiliated the Illini on Saturday. At one point, the Huskers were on a 37-2 run. That's just unacceptable. To make matters worse for the Illini, they got shown up by Caleb Walker and his nasty one-handed ally-oop.
Sebastian Koch - Elon vs. Western Carolina, 2/18
This is the perfect type of dunk to highlight in the Weekend Recap. It's not spectacular, but it's well above average. Koch went "hard to paint" and finished with authority. I like it.
Brandyn Curry - Harvard vs. Yale, 2/18
The #POSTERIZED series has been devoid of a good reverse jam for far too long. Luckily Harvard's Curry was here to save the day. But the dunk isn't even the best part. The play-by-play announcer is hilarious. He kinda sounds like he's a 12-year old providing play-by-play while he's shooting hoops in the backyard. But hey, he's on the mic and I'm not.
But was it as good as these?
Tony Wroten Jr./Aziz N'Diaye, Washington vs. Arizona, 2/18
