Pikeville is the No.1-ranked NAIA team in the country. On Wednesday night, they faced off against Mountain State, the No.2-ranked NAIA team in the country.
Not only did two fights break out, but argubly the best poster-specific poster-dunk of the young season was thrown down by UPIKE's Chris Watson.
The guy getting dunked on? That's David Nyarsuk, a 7'2" that is only on the Mountain State roster because he failed to qualify at West Virginia:
Who cares if the No. 1 and 2 teams in the country (NAIA) faced-off? With two fights and a #POSTERIZED dunk, the ramifications of the game have little meaning.
But man, what I wouldn't do to see some ESPN slow-motion replay of this dunk.
But was it as good as these?
Mike James, Lamar vs. Ohio, 11/15
Quincy Acy, Baylor vs. San Diego State, 11/15
Deniz Kilicli, West Virginia vs. Kent State, 11/15
Chris Evans, Kent State vs. West Virginia, 11/15
Tony Mitchell, Alabama vs. Oakland, 11/14
Isaiah Brown, East Tennessee State vs. Virginia Tech, 11/12
Michael Lyons, Air Force vs. Army, 11/11
