Tuesday Morning Dump

- This was from over the weekend, but Dana O'Neil wrote a very good column on the issues associated with being an assistant college coach. Its a taxing job, and not one that caters to building a family

- Jason King put together a list of the top mid-majors in the country. My only questions -- no George Mason? And Memphis and Xavier are mid-majors now?

- The growth of Terrence Jones will be one of the more interesting storylines to follow next season. I'm not sure he is ready to carry a team on his shoulders.

- Bruce Pearl is contractually obligated to attend the NCAA COI hearings and to avoid making disparaging remarks about UT to the press. This from the guy that coached last season without a contract.

- Borzello got a recruiting blog

- I'm still impressed with Harrison Barnes' decision to go to the Chris Paul camp. That kid gets it.

- Emerson Kampen's younger brother is transferring from Indiana to walk-on at Butler.

- Pat Chambers wants to rekindle the rivalry between Penn State and Pitt. If he doesn't get a quality team on the floor for the Nittany Lions, he'll be rekindling a series of beatdowns.

- UMass head coach Derek Kellogg is from Springfield, Massachusetts, the home of the Basketball Hall of Fame and a town that was devastated by a tornado earlier this month.

- Seattle U to the WAC?

- Solid interview of Kendall Marshall on Scout.com

- I feel like Iowa State has a lot more questions than just at the point.

- Vacancies aren't going to be showing up at basketball's top jobs anytime soon.
