On Tuesday afternoon, the final schedule for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge was released.
And, frankly, there isn't much to be that excited about:
Duke heads to Ohio State is what should end up being a top five matchup, although I'm sure I'm not alone in being disappointed that it was Duke that ended up with the Buckeyes and not preseason No. 1 North Carolina. The Tar Heels landed a home date with the Wisconsin Badgers, who may end up being the second best team in the Big Ten, in what may be the most intriguing contrast of styles that we see all season long.
Beyond that?
Meh.
Florida State and Michigan State should be a physical game between two teams with the potential to be top 25 this season. Michigan and Virginia are both sleepers this season. Miami and Purdue has the potential to be an exciting game. But more than anything, what looking at this schedule of games should tell you is that both the ACC and the Big Ten are top heavy. There isn't much depth to either of these leagues.
So who's excited for Wake Forest vs. Nebraska?

State/Indiana will be a sneaky good game, I believe. Sidney Lowe left two really good pieces for Gottfried in CJ Leslie and Lorenzo Brown, and the rest of the State roster is made up of some talented pieces (Scott Wood, Richard Howell).
And Indiana signed a monster class in 2009 that'll be reaching maturity next year. I know Tom Crean's gotten off to a rough start, but he hasn't forgotten how to coach.
I think it'll be one of the better games on the slate.
