- Washington's Isaiah Thomas, the back-to-back Pac-10 tournament MVP will enter the NBA draft. While he hasn't hired an agent yet, there is little hope that he returns to U-Dub. Speaking of Washington, Venoy Overton will have his providing alcohol to minors charge dropped if he stays out of trouble

- Jacob Tucker of Illinois College (D-III) won the NCAA Slam Dunk Contest (It is our humble opinion that the final round tallies of Tucker and his opponent, John Williams, were not scored properly. In other terms, John Williams got robbed)

- Boston College's Dallas Elmore is transfering. The Eagles are already losing Reggie Jackson to the NBA and eight seniors to graduation

- Kevin Ware was recruited by Bruce Pearl to play at Tennessee. When Pearl was fired, Ware wanted out of his LOI, but the school would not allow it at first. But as of yesterday, Ware has been granted full release and will look to find a new team

-The NCAA won't allow schools to provide travel expenses for parents and family of players going to the Final Four. For Butler's Matt Howard, he got some help from his hometown

- The CAA can make the leap from a mid-major to a high-major if the conference depth can improve

- Kemba Walker has started his post-season haul by winning the Bob Cousy Award

- Top tier BCS-conference schools rarely schedule non-confernce games on the road against mid-majors. But should a team like Kansas, who has lost to Northern Iowa and VCU, schedule a game or two on the road against a CAA team or a MVC team?

- Nate Miles was the player at the center of the NCAA investigation of UConn's basketball program. Slam magazine had a solid story on Miles' post-invetigation career

- It is unlikely that Jay-Z will receive anything more than a "slap on the wrists" from NBA brass due to his lockerroom celebration with Kentucky players

- I hate to steal headlines, but, oh what the hell: This is the best VCU Final Four t-shirt you will ever see

- Luther Vandross is getting his song back
