Manhattan's Michael Alvarado joins in on the buzzer-beating fun

There wasn't much reason to turn on the Marist-Manhattan game on Sunday afternoon. The teams had combined for eight wins on the season and a 4-16 record in the MAAC coming into the game.

If you did happen to turn the game on, however, especially down the stretch, you didn't leave disappointed:



That's freshman point guard Michael Alvarado of Manhattan hitting a 60 foot heave to beat Marist at the buzzer. I wonder if he called bank?

The greatest thing about blogs and twitter and the internet? This video made the rounds about 20 minutes after the actual shot happened.
