Memphis turned the ball over 21 times and allowed 25 offensive rebounds, but the Tigers were able to hang on to beat the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers 77-61.
Considering the kind of performances that Memphis has had so far this season, this is a good win for the Tigers. I say that because Memphis, despite being ranked No. 15 in the country, has underwhelmed a lot of people this year. Whether its going to overtime with Arkansas State or close wins over Miami and LSU, Memphis hasn't looked like a top 25 team this season.
So why is Memphis still in the top 25?
Because they have freshmen like Joe Jackson that can do things like this:
