Just a quick update here.
Jeremy Hazell, the best scorer for a Seton Hall team that was hoping to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament, finally had surgery on the broken bone in his wrist. He was undercut by a defender going up for a rebound against Alabama in the Paradise Jam and was hoping that he didn't need to go under the knife to return this season.
"Now that the surgery has been performed, we're looking forward to Jeremy having a full recovery," Seton Hall coach Kevin Willard said in a statement. "Our first and foremost priority is his long-term outlook, but obviously we'll be happy to have him back on the court as soon as possible."
Brendan Prunty is reporting that there is no timetable set for Hazell's return, while Adam Zagoria pegs his return at mid-January.
