Tuesday Morning Dump

- Dana O'Neil welcomes the college basketbal season with an ode to hoops. The only thing that could make this any better is if there was actually a video of Dana rapping this over the "Teach me how to Dougie" beat.

- Gary Parrish picks his field of 68 before any meaningful games tip-off. Jerry Palm of CBS also projects the field of 68.

- UConn picked up a huge piece yesterday with the addition of Ryan Boatright, who was the best point guard left on the board. Boatright originally committed to USC and West Virginia before the Huskies.

- Brett Dawson does an excellent job of summarizing the questions involving Enes Kanter right now.

- Redshirt freshman Shawn Williams is quitting the Texas basketball team. Goodman tweeted yesterday that he was transferring. We'll see what ends up happening.

- Dan Wolken says that the best move for the Memphis program is to lock Josh Pastner into a long term deal early on. Can't say I disagree.

- Great anecdote in this article from Paul Klee (See? That must follow list is already paying off!) about Bruce Weber and his spending habits.

- Speaking of must-follow lists, three were posted yesterday -- ours, TBL's, and Billy Edelin's. Update accordingly.

- Good read on Rodney Purvis. Its behind a pay wall, but if you can sneak a password from someone you should check it out.
