Thursday Morning Dump: Thanksgiving Edition

I know most of you will be too bloated to make it to the computer today, but just in case you find some time (I dunno, maybe it's when you're trying to avoid the in-laws, maybe it's when you are hiding to avoid having to do dishes), we have you covered. Things are going to be fairly slow around these parts today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

- There really isn't any other choice but to start this dump with a mention of UConn and Kemba Walker. A Kentucky blogger put it best: he was stupid good. But this game was about more than just one team beating another. As Gary Parrish explains, it's easy to be a writer when there are story lines like this.

- It's official. Royce White won't be playing for Iowa State this season. The NCAA denied his appeal

- Durrell Summers hit two big shots that helped Michigan State keep their lead late and fend of Washington. Coach Izzo had trust in a slumping Summers and it paid off

- Luke Winn updates the power rankings. Georgetown Kentucky, UConn and Minnesota all break the top-10

- News from the America East conference is that Vermont is for real

- Chaminade is back, baby! well that may be an overstatement, but the Silver Swords did beat Oklahoma yesterday (Yes, I know Oklahoma is dreadful)

- The Refraction is always a good-read (It's the game day newsletter of Utah State)

- Rush The Court checks in on The Atlantic-10

- ESPN is going 3-D for the Old Spice Classic

- Road trips are a good way to test the mental toughness of a young squad. Syracuse looks to get a lot out of their youngsters, and their first road-trip will test them
