POSTERIZED: Dunkin' in the desert

The dry, arid southwest heat must have an affect on rim-rocking because two of the nastier dunks in this young season have come from hottest places under the US sun.

After the jump, you get a double-dose of desert-dunkage. As always, if you find a youtube clip of a posterization that we have yet to find, please send it our way: @biahthetrizzle, @ballinisahabit, or ContactBIAH AT gmail DOT com.

You want a poster of the Grand Canyon? Ask Arizona State's Trent Lockett:

Lockett used three New Mexico players as ink to paint a Bob Ross-esque poster of the scenic Arizona landscape. It may not be Dunk-of-the-Year quality, but it definitely has "Poster-of-the-Year" Potential. This isn't the first time Lockett has gone all "flying cactus" on opposing players, and I doubt it will be the last.

Not to be outdone, Derrick Williams had a sizzling-one-handed alley-oop against Idaho State that may be the flashiest dunk of the young season.

I'm not sure what they are feeding the boys out in Arizona. Could be the fresh roadrunner meat, the cactus juice, or rattlesnake tail laced with peyote, but whatever it is, it seems to be working.

Are they as good as the other posters of 2010-2011?
