REPORT: BYU to stay in the MWC

Remember Expansionocalypse?

Remember how everyone thought that the Big XII as we knew it was dead?

Remember how Realignment 1.0 ended up being relatively minor, with Nebraska, Colorado, and Utah being the only schools that made a switch?

Well, if the Denver Post is to be believed, then Realignment 2.0 looks like it is going to end with a similar whimper. It seems as if the Mountain West's decision to gobble up Fresno State and Nevada from the WAC, provided they offer BYU some concessions when it comes to airing games on BYU-TV, has saved the league by keeping the Cougars happy.

Now, take that report with a grain of salt. The writers that cover BYU seem less optimistic about BYU's chances of staying in the MWC.

Someone needs to make a decision already.
