Thursday's Pregame Beat

7:00 pm: Dayton @ Richmond: The Flyers need to bulk up their resume. They have a couple of good wins (Xavier, Georgia Tech, Old Dominion) but they also have quite a few questionable losses on the road (St. Joe's, St. Louis, Duquesne). Richmond is all but a lock to be in. If Dayton can get this win on the road, it will no doubt help them a great deal.

7:00 pm: Seton Hall @ Rutgers: The Pirates are barely on the bubble anymore, if they are at all. Losing to Rutgers would eliminate any hope. The Scarlett Knights have been playing better of late, however, winning six of their last nine games.

8:30 pm: LSU @ Ole Miss: Ole Miss is in a little better shape than Seton Hall, but a loss would be just as damaging. Being the sixth win in the Big East is much better than being the second win in the SEC.

9:00 pm: USC @ Arizona State: I'm not willing to count out Arizona State just yet. If they can win their last two games and pick up a few wins in the Pac-10 tournament, the Sun Devils may have the resume to get an at-large bid.
