DeMarcus Cousins has gotten a lot of heat for being too emotional and immature.
Fair point. Anyone that watched the Louisville or Tennessee games will likely agree.
But one thing that hasn't been mentioned about Cousins?
The kid has a helluva sense of humor. Watch this video of an interview Cousins gave on Monday:
Did you laugh? I did. Quite a bit. (Personally, my favorite part was when he said he would change his number after the game because he "wants to see what they have to say.")
Perhaps the most impressive part of this entire interview was how in control and comfortable Cousins seemed. I mean, he went from self-deprecating, to stand-up comic, to, believe it or not, seeming mature and intelligent when responding to the question regarding how he felt about being called the N-word.
Cousins seems like a very likeable, and marketable, young man.
Once he gets control of his emotions, this kid has great things in store.
