Big Monday's back!!!
7:00 pm: Villanova @ Louisville: Winning on the road in league play is not easy. We know this, and Villanova surely knows this, but that doesn't make it any easier to win. Louisville matches up very well with the Wildcats. They have good guard play, size on the inside, and some athletes to complement them. The Cardinals seem to have found their rhythm, and while Villanova now has their full roster - Reggie Redding and Mouph Yarou are both playing, although Yarou still is not in game shape - the Cardinals seem to have hit their stride. Whoever wins this game moves into sole possession of first place in the Big East, and I'm going to go ahead and predict the Louisville upset. (We've gotten our last three predictions correct - Marquette over Georgetown, Wisconsin over Purdue, and Oregon State over Oregon. So bet with us!)
9:00 pm: Oklahoma State @ Oklahoma: Oklahoma has probably been the most disappointing team in the country. No one was really expecting this team to be a final four contender, but at 9-6 on the season and coming off of a 31 point loss to Baylor, its beginning to look like Jeff Capel has lost this group. Oklahoma State hasn't been great this season, but they are coming off of a 29 point win over Texas Tech and have just two losses on the season.
