John Calipari and Bruce Pearl have a nice little rivalry going

Yesterday was SEC Media Day, and John Calipari and Bruce Pearl took turns sending shots at each other. There is a rivarly between them stemming from recruiting battles and disagreements over a home-and-home series while Cal was still at Memphis.

The guys over at GoVolsXtra give you an excellent break down of the verbal barbs being thrown. In reality, nothing all that bad is said, and more than anything these quotes just add to the hype of what is turning into an excellent rivalry.

But there was one quote that stood out to me. From GVX:

Calipari summed up his thoughts on Pearl near the end of his presentation.

"We're competitors," he said. "I'm never going to paint my body."

But it was Pearl who got the last laugh. When told of Calipari's body paint comment, Pearl was asked if there was anything Calipari does that he wouldn't do.

Pearl paused for effect, smirking at the media before answering and drawing raucous laughter: "I don't know all the things that he's doing."
