UPDATE: Finally, Kyrie Irving will tell us where he is going to college

UPDATE: I'm moving this up to the top as Kyrie Irving, as expected, announced that he would be attending Duke.


Kyrie Irving will announce tomorrow on ESPN U where he is going to school. He will be choosing between Duke, Kentucky, and Texas A&M, the three schools at which he has taken official visits.

Barring a major surprise, Irving will be announcing his intentions to attend Duke and play for Coach K and the Blue Devils.

To be completely honest, I'm glad that this process is over. Maybe it is because Duke is the team that has been courting him, but I feel like Irving's name has constantly been in the news for the last month.

This is the second time that we've heard the Irving definitely will maybe commit to possibly being a Dukie.

Nothing against the kid, because he genuinely seems like he has a good head on his shoulders (a rarity these days). But the 2009-2010 season hasn't even started, and I have already spent way to much time worrying about what will happen in 2010-2011 should Irving go to Duke.
