The Gamecocks landed a pretty talented transfer in 6'5" guard Malik Cooke. Cooke averaged 9.6 ppg and 6.2 rpg while starting all 34 games at Nevada last season.
Cooke will not be eligible to play this season, but his addition will be huge for Darrin Horn come '10-'11. The Gamecocks will be losing a lot to graduation after the season, especially in their back court where Devan Downey, Dominique Archie, and Brandis Raley-Ross are all seniors.
