BIAH Flashback: Gerry McNamara vs. The Big East Tournament 2007

Since Mr. BIAH is on the left coast for the week, yours truly (The Trizzle) is going to be recalling some memorable moments from seasons past as we make our way towards the start of the '09 - '10 season.

You would be hard pressed to find a more dominant, game-changing performance by a single person in the history of college basketball conference tournaments than Syracuse's Gerry McNamara in 2007. McNamara basically put the entire basketball program on his shoulders and carried them from upstate New York to centerstage at MSG and, eventually, from the bubble to a 5 seed. It was one of the most remarkable performances I have ever seen.
