A couple things:
-I don't understand why everyone is making such a big deal about Steelers' safety Anthony Smith guaranteeing a victory against the Patriots Sunday. Look at what he said: "I can guarantee a win. As long as we come out and do what we got to do. Both sides of the ball are rolling, and if our special teams come through for us, we've got a good chance to win." Isn't that what the team is supposed to think - that if they come out, execute their game plan, and play well, that they will win? What is wrong with a player saying that?
-I went to the Redskins Bears game last night, and they didn't show any replays the entire game. This was my fourth skins game this year, and this is something that has really started to annoy me. I don't know about anyone else, but even when I'm at a game live I wanna see replays if someone makes a great play or if a play is getting reviewed, sometimes even more so. It is even more necessary for football because the field is so big and it's not that often that you get a great view of a play. For example, last night Bernard Berrian made a great catch in the end zone that was ruled incomplete. Now I know that the 'skins aren't going to play that replay and give the Lovie Smith a chance to see it and decide whether or not to challenge the call, and I completely agree with that. That's why it's called home-field advantage. But how come they don't show a replay for the 80,000 fans that paid out the ass to sit in 25 degree weather to watch the game?
-I know footballs a rough sport, and maybe I'm noticing this because this is the first time in about three years I've taken my fantasy football team so seriously, but doesn't it seem like players are getting injured at a really high rate this year? And not just special-teamers or scrubs, but stars? Marvin Harrison, Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Steven Jackson, Roy Williams, Marc Bulger, Jake Delhomme, Adrian Peterson, Marshawn Lynch, Shaun Alexander. Travis Henry got hurt, so the Broncos started Selvin Young, then he got hurt so they started Andre Hall and he got hurt. Last night, both starting quarterbacks got taken off on carts thanks to season ending knee injuries. It's been killing me fantasy wise. Henry, Alexander, Bulger, Kurt Warner, Matt Schaub, David Garrard, and now Derrick Ward have all missed time for my team. I'm living and dying on the waiver wire.

Word about taking fantasy football seriously and noticing all the injuries. They aren't listed very well either (Brady). Punt, Kick, and Interception returns are very high this year as well.
