The biggest news on Thursday had to deal with the announcement of the Big East conference schedules. The home-and-home schedules were announced, and everyone agrees that the conference did a good job with the pairs, except for one glaring omission: Syracuse and Georgetown play just once next season. Imagine if Duke and UNC played just once. Imagine if Kansas and Missouri played just once. True, Georgetown/Syracuse is a step below Duke/UNC, but you get the idea. If "not pimping" is now a crime, I'm afraid a lot of schools are going to have trouble putting teams on the court this year.
