Friday Morning Dump

- Terrific but sad read on a high school hoops prospect out of NYC that has been in and out of homeless shelters after a house fire and a violent episode with his mother's boyfriend.

- Remember when Draft Express wrote about that massive group workout for draft prospects before the deadline to withdraw from the draft? It looks like it is happening.

- When was the last time you read an off-season article concerning the N.I.T? Well, this is a great-read, so you should probably take a gander

- The Pac-10 was far from "elite" this season. But it seems like all the good players have declared for the draft. That being said, how bad is the Pac-10 going to be next season?

- Mike Miller reminds us that a year ago, Derrick Williams was not even a first round pick

- Rush the Court offers up some insight on the possible last dance of the one-and-dones

- And North Carolina's front court just got even deeper.

- San Diego State' sophomore phenom Kawhi Leonard is going to enter the draft and hire an agent. He's projected to be picked somewhere near the end of the lottery. His skill set hasn't caught up with his tools just yet, but he's got a lot of potential and he plays the game hard.

- Washington State's Klay Thompson, the son of former-No. 1 pick Michael Thompson, is leaning towards entering the draft

- Those early entry decisions affect the incoming freshmen, not just the coaches and the players at the schools.

- Wichita State assistant coach Chad Dollar will join Brian Gregory's staff at Georgia Tech

- Nebraska head coach Doc Sadler got a new contract and a pay increase following the Cornhusker's somewhat-successful season

- Iowa State center Jordan Riley has been suspended following an arrest on assault charges

- 6-foot-10 junior center James Anderson announced that he would not be returning to the BYU basketball team next season

- What can UCLA fans expect following Malcolm Lee's decision to go pro

- The off-season has only been here for two weeks, and already, it's not going so well for Xavier

- A mid-major look at the spring signing period

- Lon Kruger landed his first recruit as head coach at Oklahoma

- Alcorn State landed a 3-star recruit and possible All-Name teamer

- Future-Wildcat Michael Gilchrist was named "Mr. Basketball USA"

- Despite multiple changes to the Louisville coaching staff, highly-touted recruit Rodney Purvis reaffirmed his commitment to the Cardinals

- Some of the stuff that Harold Bell said about John Thompson may have not been factually accurate

- Josh Harrellson's "Jorts Tour" is coming to a fast-food restaurant near you. I think I'ma get me this a'here shirt.

- Kentucky's Athletic Director is in favor of a new basketball arena, but only if it's made of solid-gold

- UConn needs a new slogan(I would go with "On the LAMB since 2010" or "We had Kemba Walker and you never will")
