Friday Morning Dump

- Is Memphis the last team standing in the recruitment of Lance Stephenson? ZagsBlog says they are, but the NY Post believes that FIU and Isiah Thomas are still interested.

- Good news for UCLA: Drew Gordon's knee injury is not that serious.

- Can anyone translate this? Apparently, it says Dario Saric, a 15 year old Croatian, signed an $8 million contract with spanish club Tau Ceramica.

- Hawaii landed two transfers - Zane Johnson from Arizona and Aleksandar Milovic from Duquense.

- Jeff Goodman is reporting that Karron Johnson, a top 100 recruit headed to Oklahoma State, has not qualified and will spend the season at Moberly CC in Missouri. He is also reporting that USC went after UNLV's Lon Kruger, but that Kruger turned the Trojans down.

- Musicians love name-dropping Hasheem Thabeet in songs.

- Speaking of contracts, Sean Miller will be getting $8 million over five years.

- We talked a while back about comparing players. Rumors and Rants finds a pretty good one - a combination of Dwight Howard and Tijan Jobe.

- I almost feel bad posting this link (although I respect the site a great deal, internet rumors like this are one of the reasons that blogs get a bad rap), but some of the comments are hilarious. #54 might be my favorite.

- Depressing, but a good story.

- Funny, Hangover-esque post from Elks Are Prevalent. "He was quite swift for a drunken buffoon."

- He hits the ground so hard.
