Monday Morning Dump

A lot to get you caught up on from this weekend.

- A blog talks with a couple prospects about possibly ending up in the D-League.

- More from the combine: the Newark Star-Ledger talks with Rod Thorn about interviewing players; the Chicago Tribune says Jonny Flynn could be headed to Chicago; the Detroit Free-Press thinks Eric Maynor could be Piston bound; the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel catches up with Jrue Holiday; why does the NBA want to know if Chase Budinger has any "friends with benefits"?; Demar Derozan tells the Washington Post he can jump higher than Vince Carter.

- Eliot Williams may be considering transferring to Memphis because of a loophole that would allow him to transfer without sitting out a season. In other transfer news, Fordham is still not granting Jio Fontan his release. ZagsBlog caught up with Jio's father Jorge, who said "If they don’t grant us a release we’re going to leave regardless". Why not just give this kid his release? They already did for three other players.

- 3 Shades of Blue tosses a theory out there: the NCAA should ban athletic scholarships. I'm gonna go with zero chance of this happening.

- Obama likes Tyreke Evans.

- DeJuan Blair has lost 40 lbs since the end of the season. He's now checking in a 275 lb.

- In case you missed it, a great piece by ESPN on Nuggets fan Nicolas Owens. Some great quotes from Chauncey, Melo, and Dikembe in there.

- Wisconson may have lost Vander Blue, but they might end up with former Ohio State commit Cameron Wright. Jarrid Famous is still headed for South Florida.

- John Wall enters a program for first time offenders.

- Gani Lawal may be headed back to Georgia Tech.

- Rumors and Rants rips athletic departments.

- I don't think I'd give him money either.

- The NCAA will be looking into AAU teams associated with recruiting services.

- When Bill Simmons puts it all together, his columns are pure gold. Case in point.

- 25 innings? That is just an absurd amount of baseball.

- The CunninLynguists do a version of Kanye West's "Amazing", titled "Caucasian". The pictures in the video are pretty funny.

- Barkley has to be drunk doing these telecasts.

And here is the rest of it.
