Internet is still down. Cable guy is supposedly coming tomorrow, so once again we have a batch of links today.
- Wayman Tisdale, the Oklahoma legend and former NBA player, lost his battle with cancer. RIP Wayman.
- Gregg Doyel thinks USC is the dirtiest sports program in the country. These guys not-so-respectively disagree with that assessment. The name of their column: "Gregg Doyel is bad at journalism".
- Wake Forest has hired Rusty LaRue, a former NBA player and three-sport star for the Demon Deacons, as an assistant coach. LaRue was the head coach at Forsyth Country Day School. I wonder if this hiring has anything to do with Tyler Lewis, a stud freshman point guard at the school and one of the top recruits in the class of 2012. According the Lewis's father, LaRue was the reason that Tyler attended FCDS. Lewis has already received offers from Charlotte, Virginia Tech, and Auburn, but apparently Wake is very interested in the North Carolina native.
- Southern Miss PG Jeremy Wise has hired an agent.
