UNC's Tyler Zeller to come back tonight

All signs point toward UNC freshman forward Tyler Zeller returning tonight against NC State. If you remember, Zeller broke his wrist against Kentucky just two games into a promising freshman season and was thought to be done for the season:

Most thought that Zeller was going to be redshirted by Roy Williams, but with the loss of Marcus Ginyard and Will Graves, the Heels really needed the depth. The question becomes is it worth it to risk a full season of eligibility down the road for five games, the ACC tournament, and the NCAA tournament.

Normally, I would say no. It is not. But the fact of the matter is that UNC has a chance to win a national title this year.

And Zeller has a chance to be a part of it.

Put me in Zeller's shoes, and I would give up a year of eligibility for a chance to play a role in a national title. Not just be a member of the team, but help the team win on the floor.

For the record, we are also talking about a mobile 7-footer with a nice touch on his jump shot. He may not be around to use up that extra year.
