I know we haven't been keeping up to date on the Links and News, but here are a couple quick hitters for your weekend:
-Andy Kennedy's wife is suing the cab driver he allegedly assaulted. Why? Because he ruined her sex life...
-Great read on Kevin Pittsnoggle. He is a middle school teacher right now, coaching high school hoops while living with his wife and two kids in a double wide. Apparently, he had a thyroid condition that caused him to balloon up to 300 lbs, but now that he has lost that weight and has more energy, he is considering trying to restart his basketball career.
-Derrick Favors, who recently committed to Georgia Tech, thoroughly outplayed former UAB commit DeMarcus Cousins in a head to head match-up. Favors went for 36 points, 19 rebounds, and 4 blocks, while Cousins had 21 points, 12 boards, 5 dimes and 5 blocks. What's funny about this is that the game was played at UAB, where Cousins decommitted from because he couldn't get a clause in his LOI that said he would be released if Mike Davis wasn't the coach.
-It's official - the Mountain West and the Missouri Valley will be playing an ACC/Big Ten Challenge style competition called, ironically, "The Challenge Series". Some of us knew about this pre-Halloween.
