The college basketball season officially begins TONIGHT, as Georgia Southern will play Houston at Cameron Indoor Stadium at 4 followed by Duke playing Presbyterian at 7 in the first of the regional games in the 2k Sports Coaches vs. Cancer Classic.
Here at BIAH we will be doing morning shootarounds on a daily basis, updating you on any and all information you could need from the previous day's college hoops action. Since tonight marks the beginning of the '08-'09 season, we figured now is as good a time as any to give you the BIAH 2008-2009 pre-season all-american team.
Now the way that I see it, there are three schools of thought when it comes to all-american teams. The first is that the team should be made up of the best player at each of the five positions (we've done that already). The second method is that you put together the best possible team. In other words, if you were to be putting a team together to, oh I don't know, play in the Olympics, who would you put on that team?
The last method is to put together a team of the five best players, regardless of position. We have already done the first two, so without further ado, your BIAH all-americans.
